Personal Profile

I am an accomplished Senior Communications Specialist with an outstanding history of creating insightful, compelling content for profiles, stories, speeches, videos and white papers across print, digital and social media platforms. Working with The Fedcap Group, NYC-based parent company to 23 nonprofit agencies that serve over 250,000 people annually in the U.S., U.K and Canada, I was instrumental in developing and implementing communications strategies that drove powerful, quantifiable engagement with mission and brand. I am a highly creative leader, team member, problem solver and critical thinker who brings an innovative, entrepreneurial approach to strategic communications, to maximize the impact of content, and engage and inspire multiple audiences.
Prior to The Fedcap Group, I worked as contributor and writer for United Business Media publications including The Journal of Commerce and Traffic World, that focused on global trade and logistics In that capacity I contributed a broad range of articles, news analyses, profiles, special reports, and columns for the publication’s print and digital formats, and partnered with media relations and public affairs specialists from leading consultancies and public relations firms to develop story ideas, analytical content, profiles, and editorial features.
I conducted thousands of interviews with industry leaders, subject matter experts and government officials on a diversity of topics, including business process outsourcing; technology trends; finance; corporate compliance; emerging markets; emerging markets, and leadership. I produced traffic-generating advertorials and special features for corporations, public authorities, colleges / universities, and city and state governments for the Journal of Commerce, and compiled and edited corporate and law directories for JOC.
I have a BA in Journalism from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and an MBA from The Isenberg School of Management, University of Massachusetts Amherst.
